
Pilates is a method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body. The goal is to create and maintain a structurally fit body without building bulk or muscle imbalances. Some other benefits include: increased lung capacity and circulation, improved posture, development of coordination and stability along with enhanced sports performance. The method includes elements of boxing, gymnastics, strength training and yoga.
